Turkey Day!

Every year, someone has to remind me when Thanksgiving is. Its one of those weird holidays here in Canada... The Americans have it easy - last weekend in November, and day before first Xmas shopping day - but ours is weird, second weekend in October or something. And while I don't usually celebrate it with the folks anymore, I've kinda developed a hankering for some Turkey... and of course pie!

I've got a couple of friends coming over tonight to watch Heroes... I've been thinking of putting together some turkey breasts (can't make the full bird, it will take too long, and I'm on cam during the day). I've this mouthwatering recipe for Garlic Mushroom Turkey which I've made a few times... I'm sure I can adapt it for breasts.... Mmmmmm Breasts....

Speaking of breasts, I had a great time at D's for Desperate Housewives last night! The drama was of the finest quality, both on and off the screen ;) Irk hogged the flowers (bad form!), he's not getting any tonight. More for D & I!

Today is the last studying-day before that Biochem midterm... and I still have more cards to make, and some examples to do... I'm actually panicking so much over the midterm tomorrow, I called LCN to say I wouldn't make it; Panicking Lizzie is no fun on cam! I just hope I can get enough work done to do well on the exam! Wish me luck for tomorrow!
