My luck lately just hasn't been holding out. Monday and Tuesday this week I was more or less out of commission with a migraine. Monday evening, Ava had to show me how to use the night-vision mode on the camera! By then of course, I was very out of it... all I remember from that last hour were a couple of comments about Paris Hilton ;)
Wednesday I was feeling kinda out of it in the morning, and started shaking like a leaf before I left. Ran into Ava again outside the studio, we chatted for a bit, then went inside. On the way up I was so shakey, I almost fell! I shrugged it off as a threatening migraine, and headed up to the dressing room. As I slipped out of my jeans and shugged off my sweater, a chill ran through my neked body. I shivered as I slipped on my baby blue lacey boy-cut panties. My teeth chattered as I pulled out my dark blue corset and pulled it around myself. I realized it was the one that I needed help tying up, so I wrapped my red scarp around myself like a shawl and headed into the front office. After Alexxia did me up (not too tight, I wasn't feeling well), I went to talk to Ava again - to let her know that I was shivering and most probably actually SICK (I never shiver like that on migraines).
I stayed as long as I could, wrapped in my red scarf, and covering my legs off cam with Marcy's blanket (which I sprayed with Antibacterial stuff afterwards... don't want to pass this to her!!), and was as cheerful as I could be! I'm used to being a trooper when I'm sick (from when I worked as a severely underpaid cashier), but there was a point at which the shivers came back in force, and I was too cold, despite my legs being nice and toasty... I only ended up leaving an hour and a half early, but it turned out to be just on time...
That evening, I rested and watched TV for a bit. On an impulse at about 6:30pm, I got up to go grab a juice from the fridge... and was so dizzy I collapsed in front of the fridge. Lets just say I was really happy to have NOT been alone in the appartment! I just hope I didnt pass it on to my roommate when she helped this freakin invalid back to my room. :(~
So I ended up spending most of yesterday, and this morning lying on the couch... sipping the cocktail that a nurse gave me LAST time I got sick as a dog... Has anyone ELSE noticed a worstening of the flu in the last few years? I NEVER used to get this weak when sick... and the puking? At least I caught this one early and I'm managing the nausea on this one... (i.e. cutting out irritating foods and sticking to simple ones). I'm so glad I took tomorrow off... we'll see how I'm doing by Saturday though. Hopefully I'll at least have the strength to come in and lie on a bed!

I've always wondered why it is I find it hard to think on a bad migraine... I just found out this morning in a short Scientific American Article I came across. Cool, no?

OH dear, well you being sicky, is rather icky I say. I hope you do better really soon. As for the flu getting worse over the years. Not sure about that I do think there's increase among people getting each flu season.
All I can say what important to me is that you get better. You working at LCN isn't really a concern to me. When you feel all sicky. I do truly adire your determination to work when you feel less than you normally do.
So all I can say is gett better you sexy woman you :)

Brandon "Fonzie"
OH yeah, I don't mention this much. I guess it's more of an after thought. I know having a migraine isn't a pleasant one. I would get them so much in the winter time, especially during stressful times, and really bright light would aggrevate it even more. I would have to sit in dark room, lying down on a couch, watching TV. As I am waiting for the meds. To kick in. I don't get them as often as I did when I ws going to school. I guess, I finding ways to lessen my stress levels. I am trying to not let things get to me.
So all I have to say is migraines suck donkey nuts...
So um yeah that was a neat article in Scientific American.
Be well and Take care.
Love,
Brandon
